Pastor Glenda is a native of Memphis, Tennessee graduating from a performing arts High School which nurtured her singing and acting abilities. She has been married to her college sweetheart (Pastor Anthony) for thirty-one years. She is also a mother of four.

She has recorded musically with several famed gospel artists as well as touring Switzerland, France and Germany with Bishop Freddy Washington on several occasions. She released her debut CD entitled “A Servant’s Heart” in 2003.

Pastor Glenda earned her Bachelors of Science degree in Human Services from Springfield College graduating Magna Cum Laude. She is currently working on her Masters degree in Human Services with a concentration in Mental Health Counseling.

In 2007, she and her husband were led by God to plant Word Alive Worship Center where they bring an awesome worship experience to the people of God. She has a heart for feeding people and wanting everyone to experience God’s love and power through His Word and song. She is a dynamic speaker with a preaching flavor.
